Due to the high demand for Camp
Courage and the limited number of spots
available, a lottery drawing will be used
to select camp participants. Completed
registrations will be accepted via email
until May 6th to be eligible for the lottery
drawing. Families will be notied via email
if their child/children have been selected
for camp. All other families will be placed
on a waiting list and notied as soon as
any spots become available.
Your registration will NOT be complete
without this registration form and the
participant application found online
(www.ROCKride.org). If you are selected
to participate in Camp Courage from the
lottery drawing, the Medical History/
Physician Statement (also found on our
website) must be turned in by June 3 to
continue holding your space in camp.
One copy of your current active military
ID, VA Card or DD214 and child’s Uniform
Services ID or birth certicate required
with Registration Form. **If Medical
History/Physician Statement is not
received by this date, you will lose your
place in camp and a child on the waiting
list will be given your spot in camp.**
ROCK was founded in 1998 and is a 501(c)(3)
nonprot provider of equine assisted-services.
Based in Georgetown, Texas, ROCK serves
over 400 children, adults, veterans and their
families every year with the help of hundreds of
community volunteers and the ROCK sta and
herd. ROCK is accredited by the Professional
Association of Therapeutic
Horsemanship International
(PATH Intl.).

Courage
Camp Courage Is Proudly Presented By
ROCK is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization and PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center.
Camp Courage is a leadership horsemanship
camp specically designed for the children
of all Military Branches of Active Duty Service
Members/Veterans or Fallen Service Members/
Veterans.
The curriculum includes riding skills, horse care
instruction, classroom activities and equine-
facilitated learning. The camp will also focus on
building the character traits of: honor, integrity,
respect, responsibility, courage, and perseverance.
Connecting with horses and community
encourages self-discovery in a way that promotes
better communication and leadership skills which
is unique to each person. A licensed professional
counselor will support the children of Camp
Courage and their families as needed during
this week of camp. This LPC is also a certied
Expressive Arts Therapist and will be leading an
expressive art class during the camp as well as a
family expressive art activity during family day.
This is the 11th year that ROCK has had the honor
of oering this camp to our military community.
Camp Courage is limited to 12 children.
