is the result of our quarterly survey
of brands that offer discounts to all members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Every 3 months,
our team independently verifies each and every discount on this list. We also add more brands
to the list regularly when we come across them.
The list currently includes more than 80 brands conveniently broken down into 10 categories.

Note that in addition to the discounts listed below, many businesses offer informal discounts to
military personnel and veterans across Canada. When buying something, always be sure to ask
the store associate about whether or not they offer military or veteran discounts.

Canadian Forces (CF) Appreciation Program: The CF Appreciation Program offers discounts
to all military personnel and their families. It includes a variety of discounts from major brands
and businesses. Deals are being added regularly so keep yourself updated by visiting the

Black Diamond Pro: CAF members can apply for Black Diamond's Pro Purchase Program to
receive special store discounts (source).
Gerber Gear: Veterans of the CAF can sign up for the Gerber Gear Program to exclusive
receive discounts and free shipping. Restrictions apply (source).
Law Enforcement & Armed Forces (LEAF): The LEAF purchase program grants discounts to
CAF members who purchase at DS Tactical (source) and Triggertech (source).
Leatherman Pro: Active duty members of the Canadian military can get special discounts when
they apply to Leatherman's Pro Program (source).
Lockhart Tactical: Lockhart Tactical offers a 10% discount to members of the Canadian
military when they sign up for the Honor Program. Registration is free and valid ID is required

Medex Supply: Medex Supply offers a discount program to active and retired Canada Armed
Forces members who can verify their eligibility online (source).
Oakley Forces: Oakley Forces offers its products at a direct rate for military personnel. You
must first register online with your valid military ID to be approved for the program (source).
Outdoor Research VIP: Outdoor Research VIP offers discounts on outdoor equipment and
gear. Complete an online application to sign up for their discounts (source).
Tandy Leather: Tandy Leather's Military Appreciation Program offers special discounts and
benefits to active Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans, as well as their spouses

Cabela's: Cabela's offers a 5% discount to active duty and reserve members of the Canadian
military. Present valid ID at checkout (source).
Calvin Klein: Participating Calvin Klein outlets offer a 10% in-store discount to Canadian
military members with valid ID.
Frank and Oak: Canadian military members can present their ID to get a discount at
participating Frank and Oak outlets.
Lordco Auto Parts: Lordco Auto Parts in British Columbia offers in-store discounts of up to
40% for members of the CAF with valid ID.
Lululemon: CAF personnel with valid service ID can get a 25% discount at participating
Lululemon stores. Military spouses are also eligible (source).
Lund Boats: Lund Boats offers Canadian military members discounts on select models ranging
from $100 to $1500. Contact your nearest dealer for more details (source).
Michaels: Canadian military personnel receive a 15% off their purchase at Michaels when they
present their valid service ID at the register. Exclusions apply (source).
MEC: Mountain Equipment Co-op offers a 15% discount to Canadian Armed Forces members.
Bring valid CAF ID, CFOne membership card, or any photo ID (source).
Mountain Warehouse: CAF members are eligible for a 10% discount at participating Mountain
Warehouse outlets in Canada. Contact your nearest store for inquiries (source).
Real Storage Group: Members of the Canadian Armed Forces are eligible for a 10% discount
on Real Storage Group services (source).
Running Room: The Running Room offers military discounts to eligible customers. Send an
email request containing your order confirmation and military number to customer service

SAIL: The SAIL outlet in Ottawa offers a 10% in-store discount on select outdoor equipment to
Canadian Forces members with valid ID. Exclusions apply (source).
Sherwin-Williams: Active duty, reserve, and retired Canadian Forces members including their

Beaches by Sandals: Beaches by Sandals offers an extra 10% discount on select rates to
active and retired Canadian military personnel and their spouses (source).
Beaches Resorts: Active members of the Canadian armed forces can get a 10% discount from
Beaches Resorts. Call 1-888-BEACHES to book this offer. Proof of military service is required

Best Western: Best Western offers a 10% discount on select hotels and resorts to members of

Butchart Gardens: Military personnel with valid ID can avail of admission discounts at The

Carnival Cruise Lines: Carnival Cruise Lines offers discounted rates on select cruises to active
and retired Canadian National Defense members (source).
Choice Hotels: Choice Hotels offers discounted rates to Canadian armed forces personnel with
a valid military ID (source).
Dunn Right Home Inspections: CAF members living in Prince Edward Island can get $50 off
home inspection rates from Dunn Right. Proof of service is required (source).
Great Wolf Lodge: Active duty and retired CAF members with valid ID are eligible for the
Howling Heroes 5% discount at the Great Wolf Lodge in Ontario (source).
Howard Johnson Hotels: Canadian armed forces personnel are eligible for government
employee rates and other benefits from Howard Johnson hotels. Available in select locations

International Hotel Group: Active duty and retired Canadian military members are eligible for
discounts at participating IHG hotels. Bring valid military ID (source).
Jay Peak Resort: Active duty Canadian military personnel can get 50% off day lift tickets and
10% off regular lodging rates at Jay Peak Resort, Vermont (source).
Marriott On the Falls: The Marriott Hotel near Niagara Falls offers a special rate to eligible
members of the Canadian military. Call 1-800-618-9059 and mention the Government and

MSC Cruises: MSC Cruises is offering up to 10% off select staterooms and other exclusive
discounts to Canadian military members who can present their valid service ID. Exclusions

Ontario Fishing Licence: Active and retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces who are
residents of Ontario are eligible to fish anywhere in the province without an Outdoors Card,
provided that they bring their CF ID, Record of Service Card, or CF Veteran's Service Card.

Transportation (Air, Ground, and Rail) Discounts
Air Canada: Active and retired military personnel travelling via Air Canada are allowed up to
three pieces of checked baggage, each weighing up to 32 kg (70 lb) each. Valid identification is
required (source).
Air Transat: Canadian military members and one traveling companion receive complimentary
standard seat assignment, a 25% discount on Option Plus, if available, 1 free checked bag at 32
kgs max. weight, and 50% off excess baggage fees. Valid ID is required (source).
Avis Car Rental: Avis offers exclusive discounts to veterans and active members of the
Canadian Armed Forces. Bring valid ID or proof of service (source).
BMW: BMW offers special pricing, tax-free purchases, and other benefits to eligible members of
the Canadian military with valid ID (source).
Campbell Ford: Campbell Ford offers up to 15% off select parts and services to Canadian
military personnel (source).
CheapOair: CheapOair offers discounts on select flights to members of the Canadian military.

Marine Atlantic: Marine Atlantic is offering free passenger fares on select voyages to CAF
personnel who are members of CFOne, and up to three companions. Bring valid CF1FC-CF

General Motors Canada: General Motors Canada offers $500 worth of discount on any new
Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac to Canadian military personnel with valid proof of service

Greyhound Canada: Active and retired members of the Canadian military, including their
dependents, can get 10% off the unrestricted walk-up fare at Greyhound Canada. Restrictions

Honda Canada: Honda Canada offers a $500 rebate on any new Honda vehicle purchase or
lease. This offer is available to all past and present military personnel (source).
Hyundai: Hyundai's Military Preferred Pricing Program is available to all active and veteran
Canadian military personnel. They offer up to $1,500 in discounts on select vehicle models
(source).
Kia: Kia Canada offers a $500 rebate towards any purchase or lease of a new Kia vehicle by an
active duty or retired member of the Canadian military with valid ID. Restrictions apply (source).
Petro-Canada: Petro-Canada offers a 3-cent discount per liter of petrol with a maximum of 100
liters/month to CAF personnel with CFOne membership card (source).
Pick-n-Pull Edmonton: CAF members with valid military ID are eligible for a 10% discount from
Pick-n-Pull Edmonton. Call 800-260-5865 (source).
Porter Airlines: Canadian military personnel with valid ID are eligible for an enhanced baggage
allowance from Porter Airlines. Baggage fees will be waived for up to 3 pieces of checked

Progressive Ford: Active or veteran Canadian military personnel with ID, including their
families, can get a $500 discount from Progressive Ford. Restrictions apply (source).
Riverview Ford: Riverview Ford offers a special military discount on vehicle purchases for
current or former members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Proof of membership is required

Remorquage Edmundston Towing: Active and retired members of the Canadian military can
present their valid ID to receive a 15% discount on towing services. Call 506-353-9111 for

Strathmore Ford: All active, reserve, and veteran Canadian military personnel and their
spouses are eligible for 1.5% above invoice pricing on any new Ford vehicle, and $250 off any

Thrifty Car Rental: Thrifty offers special rates to Canadian Military members. Free application
to Thrifty’s Blue Chip Rewards Program is also available (source).
VIA Rail: VIA Rail offers a 25% discount to Canadian military personnel with valid ID and up to

VRBO: Members of the Canadian Forces receive a 15% discount on select bookings at VRBO.

West Jet: Active and retired military personnel travelling with a maximum of four bags on
WestJet flights or a maximum of three bags on WestJet Encore flights will not be charged any

Assiniboine Zoo: Assiniboine Zoo offers a 10% admission discount to CAF personnel who are

Canada's Wonderland: Canada's Wonderland offers discounted admission fees to Canadian

Canadian War Museum: The Canadian War Museum in Ottawa offers free admission for all
veterans and active CAF members, including two family members (source).
Epic Pass: Active and retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces, including eligible
dependents, can purchase the special military Epic Pass. Valid identification is required

Lake Louise Ski Resort: Lake Louise Ski Resort offers a $34 discount on lift tickets to active
and retired Canadian Armed Forces members. Present valid military ID at the Guest Services

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada: Canadian military personnel with CFOne membership card can
get admission discounts at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada (source).
Royal Alberta Museum: Military personnel with CFOne membership card are eligible for free
admission to the Royal Alberta Museum (source).
Royal Tyrrell Museum: The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta offers free admission to Canadian

Treetop Eco-Adventure Park: Members of the Canadian military force are eligible for a

Vancouver Aquarium: Vancouver Aquarium offers a $2 discount to individual members of the

Ukranian Cultural Heritage Village: Canadian military personnel and their families get free
