GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

Our faculty, staff and students are delighted to welcome

you to Holy Cross and invite you to learn more about

this extraordinary College we all call home.

Last summer, I was warmly welcomed into this

community as its president. The Holy Cross I had

admired from afar turned out to be so much more in

person. Here, we unapologetically put students rst

– a focus on undergraduate education and the liberal

arts; access to research, internships and a top-ranked

study abroad program as preparation for postgraduate

education or professional careers; a beautiful, right-

sized residential campus; and a Jesuit tradition that

inspires students to live purposeful lives of leadership,

discovery and service to others.

Today’s Open House is designed to enable you to

explore our campus and the many academic, spiritual,

social and athletic opportunities that Holy Cross has to

offer. Much like each day atop Mount St. James, today’s

schedule provides you with lots to see, do and learn.

Admission staff members and student volunteers are

available to answer questions or offer advice about how

to best structure your day.

And be forewarned that those friendly faces, helpful

directions and mad dashes to hold the doors for you

are not Open House anomalies! It’s just another day

at Holy Cross where you get to see the best of who

we are and understand how well you t with us.

BROWSING SESSION

Representatives from student extracurricular organizations will be available to answer questions and discuss

opportunities to make the most of campus life. There will also be professional staff members from several

campus departments available.

Meet with faculty and current Holy Cross students in an informal setting to discuss academic opportunities.

Brief presentations by faculty will be offered for each of the academic areas (Social Sciences, Natural

Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities, Modern Languages, Education, and the Arts).

Specialized campus tours will offer students an exclusive glimpse into Academics, Student Life, and

Residential Life. Take one tour, take two, or take all three! Tours will leave continuously from the Hogan

Oval, each lasting approximately 20 minutes.
