BIOGRAPHY
UNITED STATES AIR FORCE
MAJOR GABRIEL WAYNE BUSH
Major Gabriel W. Bush is the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, 36th Wing,
Andersen AFB, Guam. As the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, he assists
the Staff Judge Advocate in providing legal services to a wing consisting
of five groups, 17 squadrons, and 12,000 military and civilian personnel
providing the President of the United States sovereign options to
decisively employ airpower across the entire spectrum of engagement
from America’s premier forward operating location.
Major Bush received a direct commission in February 2015. He is a
member of the Maryland State Bar and admitted to practice law before
the Court of Appeals of Maryland. Prior to his commission, he clerked
for the Honorable Carol Ann Dalton of the Superior Court of the District
of Columbia. Major Bush has served as a deployed Staff Judge
Advocate in support of joint operations with Special Operations
Command, Pacific and was previously the Staff Judge Advocate for
“Kessel Run”, a cutting-edge Air Force software development institution
in Boston, MA. Maj Bush is fluent in Portuguese (European and
Brazilian) and has served as a translator for NATO, the United Nations, and Special Operations Command,
Africa. Major Bush and his wife, Ellen, have three children.
