Are dogs allowed anywhere on the Lumberjack World Championships festival grounds?
For the comfort and safety of our guests, the LWC has a no-pets policy. Although we love
animals, please leave your pet at home during your visit to the Lumberjack World
Championships. The LWC complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) allowing
access for all individuals to public places; therefore, we do allow working service dogs to
accompany guests. As identified by the ADA, guests may be asked to identify if the service
animal is required because of a disability and what work or task has the dog been trained to
perform. Service animals are required to be leashed or harnessed except when performing
work or tasks where such tethering would interfere with the dog’s ability to perform the work or
tasks. Thank you for your cooperation.
