Jacksonville, Florida – Thursday, September 21, 2023

the US, The Associa�on for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) and the
courageous Jacksonville community are holding an inspiring workshop/gathering to challenge
the unjust policies which make it a crime to teach the history, culture, and literature of Black
Americans. Hundreds of years of historical research and literary and cultural genius are being

books. A limited number of free banned books will be distributed. This event promises to be a
