These are common practices that may or may not be applicable to the products described in
this manual.
Transport Safely
Comply with state and local laws.
Never travel at a speed which does
not allow adequate control of
steering and stopping. Some rough
terrains require a slower speed.
Avoid contact with any over head
utility lines or electrically charged
conductors.
Always drive with load on end of
loader arms low to the ground.
Always drive straight up and down
ramps with load on “uphill” side of
skid steer.
Engage park brake when stopped
on an incline.
IMPORTANT: Do not tow a load
that is more than double the weight
of the vehicle towing the load.
Use towing vehicle and trailer of
adequate size and capacity. Secure
equipment towed on a trailer with
tie downs and chains.
Sudden braking can cause a towed
trailer to swerve and upset. Reduce
speed if towed trailer is not
equipped with brakes.
Shutdown and Storage
Before leaving operator’s
seat:
Lower lift arms and put
attachment flat on the ground.
Turn off engine and engage park
brake.
If included, raise seat bar and
move controls until both lock.
Remove key to prevent
unauthorized starting.
Use steps, grab-handles and
skid-resistant surfaces when
getting on or off the loader.
Detach and store implements in
an area where children normally
do not play. Secure implement by
using blocks and supports.
Practice Safe Maintenance
Understand procedure before doing
work. Use proper tools and
equipment, refer to Operator’s
Manual for additional information.

Land Pride welcomes you to the growing family of new
product owners.
This Quick Hitch has been designed with care and built
by skilled workers using quality materials. Proper
assembly, maintenance, and safe operating practices will
help you get years of satisfactory use from this machine.
Application
The SH35 Series Skid Steer Quick Hitch is designed and
built by Land Pride to provide quick and easy three-point
attachment to category 1 or 2 implements that are not
driven or powered by a PTO shaft. Box blades, landscape
rakes, soil pulverizers, hydraulically driven power rakes,
and other like implements work extremely well with this
hitch. Rental yards, implement dealers, and owners of
larger implement fleets will find that the SH35 serves an
excellent tool for spotting, relocating, and organizing
implements on large lots. This unit also has expanded
versatility with use of a class 2 receiver and convenient
storage for a ball hitch. An adjustable top hook makes
attachment to a broader range of implements even
easier.
See “Specifications & Capacities” on page 11 and
“Features & Benefits” on page 12 for additional
information and performance enhancing options.

Transporting and Use
!
CAUTION
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws when traveling
on public roads.
!
DANGER
Always use accessory lights and other available warning
devices to alert other vehicle operators of your presence when
traveling on public roads night and day.
!

The release handles should always be rotated down when
using the Quick Hitch.
Operating Instructions
Once you have familiarized yourself with the Operator’s
Manual and properly attached your Land Pride SH35
Quick Hitch to the skid steer loader, you should be just
about ready to start Quick Hitch “management and
handling” of your compatible Category l and Category II
3-point implements.
You will notice we emphasize “management and
handling” when we refer to your implements. If you are
going to gain the benefit of owning a Land Pride SH35
Skid Steer Quick Hitch you will need to park your
implements on a firm surface ensuring that the lower
hitch pins and top-link remain upright or oriented for
future Quick Hitch alignment and attachment. Allowing
the lower hitch pins and top link to tumble forward into the
dirt or mud will not be acceptable or compatible with this
fast hook-up system. This simply is a better way to
manage your time, your implements, and your
investment.
Now you are ready to use your Quick Hitch. Put your
Quick Hitch release handles in the down and locked
position. Start your loader and slowly move forward
centering on the implement you want to attach. Lower
your three-point so the Quick Hitch lower hooks and top
link hook line up under the implements lower hitch pins
and top-link pin simultaneously. Slowly raise the Quick
Hitch until all three pins are captured and the lower pins
automatically lock in place. You should be ready for
transport.
When you are ready to detach, position the implement
over a firm surface or prepared docking point that will
keep the lower hitch pins and top-link properly oriented
for future attachment. With the implement still off the
ground, set the parking brake, turn off the loader, remove
the key, get off the loader, disconnect implement
hydraulic hoses if used and raise the Quick Hitch release
handles. Now get back on the loader, start the engine,
slowly lower the implement until it is on the ground and
the Quick Hitch releases. Slowly back-up until you are
safely clear. With a little practice you should get very
good at hooking and unhooking quickly.
